The Elementary Library welcomes readers from grades TK-6^th on a weekly basis as part of their weekly rotation schedule. Read-a-louds in all genres are shared with all grades as part of their library time. In addition to checking out books, weekly lesson plans include some of the following: Citizenship, library manners and book care, National Book Awards, genre, Dewey Decimal System, author/Illustrator studies, research and writing book reviews. The library puts on a yearly Book Fair and also a Book Trade which are fun events for all grades.
